FOC-ENS algorithm

Step 1: estimate the data covariance matrix of the array from the output vector of the array element

Step 2: perform eigen decomposition on the covariance matrix and arrange the eigenvalues in descending order so as to obtain interference subspace , signal subspace , and noise subspace

Step 3: take a set of orthogonal bases determined by interference in the total signal subspace and merge it into the noise subspace to form the interference-noise subspace

Step 4: based on the interference-noise subspace , perform a spectral peak search on to estimate the DOA of the weak signal
