The Association between Deoxyribonucleic Acid Hypermethylation in Intron VII and Human Leukocyte Antigen-C07 Expression in Patients with Endometriosis

The beta scores of five aberrantly methylated 5′–C–phosphate–G–3′ sites mapped to the human leukocyte antigen-C (HLA-C) gene in HLA-C07 carriers. Following HLA-C genotyping, nine HLA-C07 carriers were selected from the 12 participants in the microarray study. The deoxyribonucleic acid methylation status of the healthy woman (Eu-H1) was identical to that of the patients (Eu-P1–Eu-P6), while the other two (Eu-H2 and Eu-H3) were different.
