A Possible Mechanism of Metformin in Improving Insulin Resistance in Diabetic Rat Models

<div>Effects of metformin on HFD/STZ-induced type 2 diabetic rats. Diabetes was induced in Wistar rats and then administered with or without metformin. At the end of the experiment, rats were fasted for 16 hours. OGTT was performed, and blood glucose (a) and serum insulin (b) at 0, 30, 60, 90, and 120 minutes were recorded.
