(a) NRK-52E cells were cultured in the medium with different concentrations of glucose or mannitol for 12 h, 24 h, or 48 h ( compared with 5.6 mmol/L group at 24 h; compared with 5.6 mmol/L group at 48 h). (b) NRK-52E cells were pretreated with GSK2606414 (10 nM and 100 nM) for 30 minutes and coincubated with 25 mmol/L glucose for 24 h. GSK2606414 treatment did not decrease the cell viability.
