The International Journal of Energy Research has retracted the article titled “The impact of COVID-19 on the electricity sector in Spain: An econometric approach based on prices” [1] due to unattributed overlap with the unpublished manuscript “The Impact of the COVID-19 on Italy’s Energy Industry: An Econometric Approach Based on the Single National Price of Electricity” by Tiago Silveira Gontijo and İhsan Erdem Kayral. The retraction has been agreed on following an investigation conducted by the Danish Committee on Research Misconduct.
