Identifying Subalpine Fir (<i>Abies lasiocarpa</i>) Attacked by  the Balsam Woolly Adelgid (<i>Adelges piceae</i>) Using Spectral Measurements of the Foliage

<table>Values for the simple ratio and percent reflectance in the SWIR  for individual trees infested or not infested with balsam woolly adelgid.  Reflectances and band ratios were computed by integrating the narrow band data to the SPOT5-HRVIR band equivalent reflectance.   The two variables were selected using a stepwise discriminant analysis procedure for distinguishing infested from noninfested trees.</table>
