Purified mouse neutrophils produce high levels of IP-10 in response to stimulation with proinflammatory mediators or HSV-1. neutrophils purified from bone marrow were stimulated for 8 h in vitro with 10 ng/mL of either recombinant mouse IL-1α, IFN-γ, or HSV-1 at the dose indicated. Chemokine production was assayed by ELISA. An asterisk indicates a value not significantly different from the unstimulated control.
