The forecast maps of super typhoon MANGKHUT as well as TRAMI in 2018. Among them, figure (a, d) shows the trajectory and intensity level change maps of the full path of the two typhoons. Figure (b, e) shows the deterministic prediction results of the independent test phase of their prediction intervals. The light green and dark green represent the 80% and 50% confidence intervals of the probability forecasts, respectively, and figure (c, f) shows the calibration plots of the two hurricanes, respectively.
