Human Oral Keratinocytes Challenged by <i>Streptococcus sanguinis</i> and <i>Porphyromonas gingivalis</i> Differentially Affect the Chemotactic Activity of THP-1 Monocytes

<div>The number of THP-1 cells at 18 h attracted to the lower compartment of the transwell apparatus by bacteria alone, or the HOKs challenged by <i>S</i>. <i>sanguinis</i> (Ss) or <i>P</i>. <i>gingivalis</i> (Pg) for 18 h. Controls: blank (light blue) and HOK alone (light pink). The results are obtained from three independent assays.
