Mesangial hypercellularity was almost equally scored as M0 (<50% of glomeruli showing mesangial hypercellularity) and M1 (>50% of glomeruli showing mesangial hypercellularity); endocapillary hypercellularity was more frequently scored as E0 (no endocapillary hypercellularity) than E1 (any glomeruli showing endocapillary hypercellularity); absence of segmental sclerosis (S0) was observed less than the presence of segmental sclerosis (S1); and 50% of patients showed interstitial fibrosis 0–25% (T0), 43% had interstitial fibrosis 26–50% (T1), and only 7% had interstitial fibrosis >50% (T2).
