Investigating the Fish Assemblages of the Neosho River System
Figure 4
Nonmetric multidimensional scaling (nMDS) analysis with the Bray-Curtis similarity index with calculated multigear mean standardization (MGMS) values for 67 species of fishes from all gears at sampling sites and regions of the Neosho River system (stress = 0.239). Regions are represented by ellipses (i.e., upper Neosho = lower left, middle Neosho = upper middle, lower Neosho = lower right, and Spring river = middle left). Species with higher abundances in specific regions thus contributed to distinct spatial patterns.
