Comparison of BHT (a) and BHA (b). The blue ¹H NMR spectra show the signals of a direct measurement in cyclohexane/acetone-d₆, while the red spectra represent the result of the SPE cleanup. While BHA is completely removed by SPE, a considerable amount of BHT remains.
