The free-energy landscape (FEL) was plotted using PC1 and PC2 for WT IL-2 (a), IL-2m (b), and IL-2m2 (c) during the 100 ns MD simulations. The FEL showed similar basins for IL-2m and IL-2m2 indicated for better stability.
