Synthesis of desired 5-nitrofuran‒isatin hybrids. (i) NH₂NH₂ H₂O, MeOH, reflux 1 h; (ii) EtOH/AcOH, reflux 5 h; (iii) EtOH, formalin 40%, morpholine or 1-methylpiperazine or 1-phenylpiperazine, RT overnight.
