Biological Reduction of Perchlorate from Spent Modified Reed Mediated by an Enriched Microbial Culture

<div>Biological removal of perchlorate by EMC during enrichment. The conditions were: perchlorate feed = 800 mg/L; yeast = 2 g/L; pH = 7.0 ± 0.5; and <i>T</i> = 25°C. A few data points were omitted when sludge conditions were not stable.</div>
