Aldose Reductase Inhibitor Protects against Hyperglycemic Stress by Activating Nrf2-Dependent Antioxidant Proteins

<div>AR-inhibition regulates cell viability of Thp1 cells via Nrf2 activation. The control-siRNA and Nrf2-siRNA-transfected Thp1 cells were treated with HG ± fidarestat for 48 h, and the cell viability was determined by MTT assay.
