Comparisons of One to Three Monthly Injections of Aflibercept for Diabetic Macular Edema by Practical Protocol
Figure 5
Comparisons of changes in BCVA (logMAR units) from the baseline in the poor baseline BCVA and the good baseline BCVA groups. In eyes with poor baseline BCVA, there was no significant difference in the mean BCVA between the two groups at 12 months after the IVA. However, in eyes with the good baseline BCVA, the mean BCVAs in the 3+PRN group at 3, 6, and 12 months after the IVA were significantly improved compared to those in the 1+PRN group (, , and , respectively; Mann-Whitney test). BCVA: best-corrected visual acuity; logMAR: logarithm of the minimum angle of resolution: PRN: pro re nata.
