Effect of diet-induced hyperinsulinemia and exercise on acetyl cholinesterase activity (km, mM; , μmol min-1/μg protein) in muscles at 1.5 mM substrate concentration after 30 min incubation of control, high-fat diet (HFD), high-fat diet exercise (HFD Ex), high-carbohydrate diet (HCD), and high-carbohydrate diet exercise (HCD Ex). For determination of substrate kinetics of AChE, acetylthiocholine iodide was used as the substrate over a concentration range of 0.5– 5 Mm.
