Islet transplantation inhibited the expression of inflammatory factors in diabetic nephropathy mice. (a–c) Immunohistochemical staining (×400) and quantitative analysis showing the expression levels of IL-6 and MCP-1 in different groups. Quantifications of IL-6 and MCP proteins expression in the kidney was measured by mean integrated optical density (IOD)/area. (d–f) Levels of IL-6 and MCP-1 proteins were quantified by western blot analysis. There are three replicates in each group ( versus the control group, # versus the DN group).
