Box-and-jitter plots of the aqueous levels of IL-6 (a), IL-8 (b), VEGF (c), and PlGF (d) in NPDR, PDR, and post-PRP patients. The IL-6, IL-8, VEGF, and PlGF levels of PDR patients were significantly higher than those of NPDR patients. The VEGF and PlGF levels in the PDR group were higher than those in the post-PRP group.
