Model 1: adjusted for sex, smoking status (ever or never), and drinking status (ever or never). Model 2: model 1 plus adjustment for systolic blood pressure and vibration perception threshold classes (<15, ≥15 V). Model 3: model 2 plus adjustment for body mass index classes (<24, ≥24 kg/m2), alanine transaminase, creatinine, albumin, low-density lipoprotein cholesterol, vitamin D, hemoglobin A1c classes (<7, ≥7%), and diabetes duration classes (≤10, >10 years).
