RLP has antioxidative and anti-inflammatory effects on DN mice. To investigate the anti-inflammatory and antioxidative effects of RLP, the study analysed the impact of RLP treatment on oxidative-related factors and proinflammatory cytokines in the kidney of DN mice. RLP enhanced the activities of SOD (a) and GSH-Px (c) and reduced the level of MDA (b) in the kidney, indicating an improvement in oxidative stress. Moreover, RLP administration to DN mice resulted in a decrease in the levels of IL-1β (d), IL-6 (e), and TNF-α (f) in the kidney, suggesting a reduction in inflammation.
