Hesperidin Induced HePG-2 Cell Apoptosis through ROS-Mediated p53/Bcl-2/Bax and p-mTOR Signaling Pathways

Figure 4

Hesperidin-induced apoptosis in HepG-2 cells. (a) The cell-cycle distribution with different concentrations of hesperidin was analyzed by quantifying DNA content using flow cytometric analysis. The sub-G1 peak on the fluorogram detected by flow cytometry is the apoptotic cell peak. The number marked in the upper right corner of each box is the result of its quantitative analysis for each cell cycle. (b) Representative photomicrographs of DNA fragmentation and nuclear condensation as detected by the TUNEL-DAPI co-staining assay under the fluorescence microscope. The length of the scale plate in the footnote is 75 μm. Different concentration gradients of hesperidin include 40 μM, 80 μM, 160 μM, 320 μM, and 640 μM.
