OxLDL-Induced Foam Cell Formation Inhibitory Activity of Pepsin Hydrolysate of Ark Shell (Scapharca subcrenata (Lischke, 1869)) in RAW264.7 Macrophages

Figure 3

Effect of 1–3 mg/mL of ark shell-pepsin hydrolysates (ASPH) on (a) cholesterol influx (b) cholesterol efflux, and (c) CD36. SR-A1, ABCA1, and ABCG1 protein expression in oxLDL induced RAW264.7 murine macrophages. The macrophages were treated with ASPH (1–3 mg/mL) for 1 h followed by oxLDL treatment for 24 h. The experiments were conducted as three independent determinations (n = 3) with ±S.D., and error bars with different letters are significantly different ().
