OxLDL-Induced Foam Cell Formation Inhibitory Activity of Pepsin Hydrolysate of Ark Shell (Scapharca subcrenata (Lischke, 1869)) in RAW264.7 Macrophages
Figure 4
Effect of 1–3 mg/mL of ark shell-pepsin hydrolysates (ASPH) on proinflammatory cytokine production: (a) TNF-α, (b) IL-6, and (c) IL-1β in oxLDL stimulated RAW264.7 murine macrophages. (d) The effect of 1–3 mg/mL of ASPH on NF-kBp-65 molecule nuclear translocation in oxLDL stimulated RAW264.7 cells. The macrophages were treated with ASPH (1–3 mg/mL) for 1 h followed by oxLDL treatment for 24 h for proinflammatory cytokine detection and 2 h for NF-κB p-65 molecule nuclear translocation. The experiments were conducted as three independent determinations (n = 3) with ±S.D., and error bars with different letters are significantly different ().
