Screening and Optimization of α-Glucosidase Inhibitor Production by Potent Strain of Bacillus subtilis Isolated from Peruyaan, Fermented Soy-Food of Northeast India

<div>The effect of FMHB (a) 100 mg/kg⋅BW; (b) 200 mg/kg⋅BW; (c) 400 mg/kg⋅BW); and acarbose (d) on postprandial plasma glucose level in sucrose fed male Wistar rats. Blood glucose level was measured at a regular interval of 30 min consecutively for 2 h. The areas under the curve (AUC) of the glucose response was analysed (e).
