CdrV and CBr are able to induce PLIN2 recruitment in isolated macrophages. Elicited macrophages collected from three independent experiments with 3 to 5 animals were incubated with RPMI (control), CdrV (10 μg/mL), or CBr (6.5 μg/mL) for 3 h and labeled for LDs (with Nile Red) and for PLIN2 (with Alexa Fluor 488-conjugated antibody). The merged image shows colocalization of PLIN2 to LDs. The pictures are representative of three independent experiments.
