PBMCs from 70 SLE patients and 53 healthy subjects were evaluated in response to PHA. Results were given as net spots/million PBMCs (a) and then normalized to CD4⁺ (b) and CD8⁺ (c) T cell counts. value was calculated with the Mann-Whitney test.
