Budesonide suppressed NLRP3 inflammasome activation in macrophages in vitro. RAW 264.7 cells were treated with LPS (100 ng/mL) + ATP (5 mM) with or without budesonide. The protein expression levels of NLRP3 (a, b) and caspase-1 p20 (a, c) were detected using western blotting. The concentrations of IL-1β in the supernatant were detected using ELISA (d).
