Antigen-Specific Tissue-Resident Memory T Cells in the Respiratory System Were Generated following Intranasal Vaccination of Mice with BCG

Figure 3

The tissue-resident memory T cells including CD4+ and CD8+ T cells in the lavage fluids, nasal mucosa, trachea, and lungs. (a) Live and singlet TRM cells from lavage fluid, nasal, trachea, and lung tissues were gated on CD3+CD44high, CD4+CD44high, and CD8+CD44high T cells and subsequently analyzed by flow cytometry. (b) The statistical results of CD69+ T, CD103+ T, and CD69+CD103+ T cells on CD3+CD44high, CD4+CD44high, and CD8+CD44high T cells in the lavage fluids, nasal mucosa, trachea, and lungs were shown as of six independent experiments. Statistical significance was determined with Tukey’s multiple comparisons test. , , and ; ns: no significance.
