Vaccination of mice with BCG induced the production and expression of IFN-γ, IL-2, and TNF-α by T cells in the lavage fluids, nasal mucosa, trachea, and lungs. Respiratory system tissues of lavage fluid, nasal mucosa, trachea, lung, and blood cells were stimulated for 12 hrs with or without BCG plus anti-CD28 in the presence of BFA in flow tubes. The cells were detected for the frequencies of INF-γ, IL-2, and TNF-α by FACS as mean. Statistical significance was determined with two-way ANOVA. ,, and ;: no significance.
