C/EBP<i>α</i>-Mediated Transcriptional Activation of PIK3C2A Regulates Autophagy, Matrix Metalloproteinase Expression, and Phenotypic of Vascular Smooth Muscle Cells in Aortic Dissection

<div>The impact of C/EBP<i>α</i> deficiency in stretch-activated aortic rings of AD rat. C/EBP<i>α</i> expression <i>in vivo</i> was knocked down using C/EBP<i>α</i> shRNA lentivirus in AD rats, and the aortic rings were collected, stretched by 5 g for 30 minutes, and analyzed the protein levels of PIK3C2A, <i>α</i>-SMA, SM-MHC, OPN, LC3, Beclin-1, and p62 by Western blot.
