Activation of Most Toll-Like Receptors in Whole Human Blood Attenuates Platelet Deposition on Collagen under Flow

IKK/NF-κB inhibitors can strongly inhibit platelet deposition under flow. PPACK WB with HBS (control) or IKK/NF-κB inhibitors were perfused over collagen at 100 s^-1 for 720 s. CD61 was added to label platelets. Platelet FI different concentrations of IKK inhibitor VII (a, b) and Bay11-7082 (c, d) were measured throughout the course of the experiments.
