Autoradiograph of nucleotides from [³²P]-labeled U2 RNA 5′ fragment [12]. The [³²P]-labeled U2 RNA 5′ fragment (T1 RNase digestion) was treated first with alkaline phosphatase and then with snake venom phosphodiesterase. This mixture of mononucleotide products was separated by electrophoresis followed by chromatography. Approximately equal amounts of pm_32,2,7G, pAm, pUm, pC, and pG were observed (Table 11).
