Streptavidin immobilization: protocols 1–4. After coating REA chips according to protocols 1–4, the chips were tested in a microfluidic cell with premixed assay reagent solution of constant analyte concentration (342 ng/mL, indicated by “+”). To analyze whether chips exhibited unspecific binding, instead of analyte solution the corresponding pure buffer was added to the assay reagent mix (−).
