Green Synthesis of CuInS2/ZnS Nanocrystals with High Photoluminescence and Stability
Figure 1
(a) XPS peaks from CIS and core/shell CIS/ZnS QDs with different Zn/Cu feeding molar ratios, (b) high resolution scans of Cu 2p photoelectrons, and (c) normalized intensity of the Cu 2p peak versus ZnS shell thickness. The solid line is an exponential attenuation curve based on a ZnS photoelectron escape distance of 1.2 nm. The calculated averages of ZnS shell thickness are 0.5, 0.9, 2.4, and 2.8 nm with Zn/Cu feeding molar ratios of 2, 4, 8, and 16, respectively.
