Schematic illustration of DNA stretching on 1L-MoS2 surface. The surface of the glass substrate was negatively charged by piranha and RCA treatment (see the text) and YOYO-1 stained DNA strands were spin coated on the sample, which resulted in lateral stretching of DNA strands on 1L-MoS2.
