Raman spectra obtained from (a) MoS₂ monolayer films, following the growth process, which is shown in Figure 2(c). The frequency difference of 19.3 cm⁻¹ between the peaks confirms that the film is a monolayer. (b) MoS₂ bilayer films, following the growth process, which is shown in Figure 2(a). The frequency difference of 22.7 cm⁻¹ between peaks confirms bilayer MoS₂ formation. Insets show the corresponding optical images of the sample surface.
