Effects of Strategically Placed Water Droplets on Monolayer Growth of Molybdenum Disulfide

Results of varying MoS₂ morphologies including planar and vertical growth as water volume and position are varied. The areal coverage and number of layers were dependent on water amount as well as its position on substrates with respect to the MoO₃ source. ^aSymmetric water placement; ^basymmetric water placement.
