Facile Synthesis of Yb<sup>3+</sup>- and Er<sup>3+</sup>-Codoped LiGdF<sub>4</sub> Colloidal Nanocrystals with High-Quality Upconversion Luminescence

<div>UCL decays from <sup>2</sup>H<sub>11/2</sub> of Er<sup>3+</sup> by monitoring the Er<sup>3+</sup> emission at 523 nm under 980 nm excitation in LiGdF<sub>4</sub>:Yb<sup>3+</sup>/Er<sup>3+</sup>
