Metformin Inhibits the Development of Hypopharyngeal Squamous Cell Carcinoma through Circ_0003214-Mediated MiR-489-3p-ADAM10 Pathway

<div>Metformin suppressed HSCC development <i>in vitro</i> by lessening circ_0003214 expression. (a) The expression of circ_0003214 in HSCC tumor tissues and normal tissues was detected by qRT-PCR. (b) The expression of circ_0003214 in metformin-treated FaDu and Detroit 562 cells was detected by qRT-PCR. (c) The efficiency of circ_0003214 overexpression in FaDu and Detroit 562 cells was checked by qRT-PCR. In metformin-treated FaDu and Detroit 562 cells transfected with circ_0003214 or vector, (d) cell viability was assessed using CCK-8 assay. (e) The ability of colony formation was determined by colony formation assay.
