Metformin Inhibits the Development of Hypopharyngeal Squamous Cell Carcinoma through Circ_0003214-Mediated MiR-489-3p-ADAM10 Pathway

MiR-489-3p inhibition abolished the effects of metformin by mediating ADAM10. In metformin-treated FaDu and Detroit 562 cells transfected with anti-miR-489-3p, anti-miR-NC, anti-miR-489-3p + si-ADAM10, or anti-miR-489-3p + si-NC ((a) and (b)) cell viability and colony formation were investigated using CCK-8 assay and colony formation assay, respectively. (c–e) Cell apoptosis and cell cycle progression were monitored by flow cytometry assay. .
