Participant self-reported mood at baseline. Depression was assessed with the Hamilton Depression Rating Scale (HAMD), anxiety was assessed by the State-Trait Anxiety Inventory (STAI), and fatigue was assessed with the Fatigue Symptom Inventory (FSI). In all scales, higher scores represent higher levels of the symptom (e.g., higher levels of depression, anxiety, and fatigue). SD: standard deviation; df: degrees of freedom; statistically differs between groups.
