(a) A specific band of 53 kDa was detected in reaction of recombinant BoRON2 with anti B. orientalis water buffalo serum on line 1 and line M the prestained protein marker. (b) Immunoblot for detection of BoRON2 protein in parasite lysates. Line 1, a unique band of around 150 kDa was detected in parasite lysate probed with polyclonal BoRON2 antibody; line 2: no band detected with preimmune serum in parasite lysates.
