Shear-Force Sensors on Flexible Substrates Using Inkjet Printing

Characteristic of the sensor to three increasing (R) and decreasing (D) cycles of shear force in (a) –-direction and (b) +-direction. After the first force application, a linear behavior with a large hysteresis was found. The drift of the signal can be explained by viscoelastic behavior of the PDMS and is reversed after a longer resting time.
