Introduction to the basic concepts in Photoshop.

Bitmap	Typically used for photoquality image processing, the image is made up of many “pixels” like small squares. Represented by its position and color value, it can show the change of color shadow
Vectorgraph	The image physical properties of the resulting photos are usually not available. They are commonly used for engineering drawings
Resolution	Pixels per unit length
Channel	Refers to the range of colors, in general, a basic color for a channel
The layer	In general, multiple layers are used to make each layer as if it were a piece of transparent paper, stacked together to create a complete image
