UBC minimally impacts viability as measured by cellular membrane integrity. Cells were treated as described in Methods. These were harvested and cell viability was monitored via flow cytometry as a function of PI after day 9. The number of live cells (viable) is shown as the percentage of PI-negative cells for each cell line ((a), (b), (c), and (d)). Data determined as the mean of six replicates and is representative of three independent experiments. Statistically significant at in comparison to media controls (untreated).
