In the Western blot, AM caused a reduction in protein expression of myofibroblastic proteins in hPVR cells. (a–f) When compared to the control, F-actin was significantly reduced 3.3-fold ( = 0.03), α-SMA was significantly reduced 3-fold ( = 0.03), cytokeratin-8 was significantly reduced 3.7-fold ( = 0.03), and vimentin was significantly reduced 1.8-fold ( = 0.03).
