The effect of 100 uM clotrimazole, 50 uM glibenclamide, and 7 uM cromakalim on the tension and rate of smooth muscle contraction expressed as grams tension in the in vitro rabbit ileum incubated in Krebs-Ringer solution. Results are expressed as means ± standard error of the mean with the number of observations in parenthesis. Statistical significance (^a𝑃<.001; ^b𝑃<.02; ^c𝑃<.05) for comparison of parameters prior to and after drug administration.
