Surface roughness for the direct drive ICF test problem: (a) the 1D power spectrum of surface roughness as a function of Fourier mode number for generic cryogenic ICF capsules as reported by Haan et al. [37] and (b) the corresponding radial surface perturbations, used in xRAGE simulations, as functions of polar angle. The radial surface perturbations in (b) were determined by summing the power spectrum from (a) over all mode numbers.
